Community
Code of Conduct.
Last updated: 2026-07-17
AIMeetup is a place for AI builders to learn together. This document is maintained by AIMeetup and applies to every event, chat, and forum where our name appears.
What we expect
- Be welcoming to newcomers. Assume good faith. Explain jargon.
- Give credit generously. Cite prior work.
- Disagree with ideas, not with people.
- Ask before recording, photographing, or sharing others' work.
What is not OK
- Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination — in person or online.
- Sexual attention or imagery in AIMeetup spaces.
- Sustained disruption of talks, workshops, or discussions.
- Recruiting pitches during another speaker's session.
- Sharing attendees' contact info without explicit consent.
How to report
At an in-person event, talk to any organizer wearing an AIMeetup lanyard — they are trained to respond. Anywhere else, email trust@aimeetup.dev. Reports go to a small trust & safety team; we don't discuss reports with the community without the reporter's consent.
Consequences
Organizers may issue a warning, ask someone to leave an event, or ban them from future AIMeetup spaces. Actions are proportionate to the behavior and its impact.
This Code of Conduct is maintained by AIMeetup. It is not a legal contract, but our organizers use it as the operating standard for every event and space.
